Missions and Social Action

Shalom is committed to advancing social and environmental justice, striving to promote health and freedom for all. As a welcoming faith community, we stand with those marginalized by the lingering effects of discrimination. This committee helps Shalom connect with wider networks engaged in responding to the call of the United Church of Christ, inspired by God’s word to seek justice, love mercy (Micah 6:8), and care for the least among us, following the example of Jesus (Matthew 25:40).
